What is our mission?
To make piece after piece that aspires to our deepest understanding of excellence of craft in this medium, that tells a story of human drama with subtext and humour and simplicity. To tell stories that do not comment on their characters but express a perspective or observation and present a passionate yet unbiased exposé on human interaction and behaviour.
In early 2009, old friends and theatre collaborators, Mike Booth, Alistair Powning and Jessica Wren assembled in Alistair's modest Enmore Road studio to read aloud Harold Pinter's The Dumb Waiter. There was a semblance of a plan: to form a kind of band, to seek material that focused on the acting; to put on plays with our mates.
